I agree therapy should be used. I almost must add that I know a child who needed medical help with some of his permanent symptoms brought on by drug abuse while his mother was pregnant. He was in therapy but needed more help to get by day to day. Now? Now he is doing loads better. The combination is what he needed to deal with his extreme anxiety while he learned to verbalize his need and to self-soothe.

Its just not all black and white. I wish no one needed psych meds, but sometimes we do.
