We go to Yosemite a lot. I grew up camping every year we went. My husband loves Yosemite and it's about a 4 hour drive so not to bad.

We used to use a tent but they have something called housekeeping. Housekeeping is the best of camping. You have a cement slap and 3 cement walls with a canopy on top. It comes with a double or a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. You have to bring your own sleeping bags. It has shelves for you to put your things on plus outlets and lights. It's an upgrade from using a tent and a down grade from a cabin.

You also have privacy screen and people decorate them. We usually bring halloween lights and plug them in at night so the kids know where we are out. The best part. We have good bathrooms with hot water and flushing toilets and showers. They also provide you with shampoo and body wash. You also get 2 bear lockers and a fire pit and a picnic table.

It really is the best of both worlds. We were sitting down eating dinner by the fire when my husband said no buddy move and we all looked at where he was pointing and there was a deer just a few feet away from us. the kids were thrilled.
