In the original Bob Newhart Show on TV, didn't he play a therapist? He is so funny.

There was a recent TV show called "Cracking Up" that I thought was very funny about a psychology grad student played by Jason Schwartzman who lives with a psychologist and his family to save money. The psychologist's family is completely wacko. My daughter and I thought this show was laugh-out-loud funny, but we must have been the only ones, as it was canceled after only about 6 episodes.

I also liked Good Will Hunting, as others here have mentioned. The Matt Damon abused genius character tries out several therapists before he finds one that fits (Robin Williams). He really takes the others for a ride. Pretty funny. I only saw this movie fairly recently and I remember noticing the Robin Williams character self disclosed, always an interesting topic to me, since my T does too, but I know not all do. I remember that the Matt Damon character really uses this self disclosure against the therapist and when he does that, Robin Williams almost punches him out in session. I liked that. I always view my therapist's self disclosure as a real gift to me, and it would be so taboo to use that against him to try to hurt him. So I applauded the near punch out scene.

I have never heard of Analyze This, Analyze That. Is it TV or a movie?

Girl Interrupted is a serious movie about a mental hospital. Along those lines, so is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
