I don't know how well you sleep but lack of sleep can cause this type of thing. Anxiety can also make us see things that aren't there or make us imagine things, anxiety often goes with depression. Depression can also have psychosis attached to it so it could be hallucinations. Share your experiences with your mental health team, it is distressing what ever is going on.
