It is hard but I would wait until you have more information. My mother died of a brain tumor and my husband had to have radiation treatment on his brain a couple months ago and I was thinking the worst too. But they got the problem and he's recovering from treatment fine now. Might not be permanent but now we know what to watch for.

Maybe your coming off your meds threw your liver for a loop and it might take time for it to recover.
