By your "photo section," I gather you mean your Member Gallery. I'm afraid all I know about that, is that it's completely separate from the albums shown on your profile page.

At first glance, I don't see any way to move your gallery pictures (or mine) in and out of albums. If I ever needed to post one of mine to a social group I think I'd save the image to my computer (if I didn't already have it there), then upload it to one of my profile albums.
