Has anyone experienced anything like this or is my body just odd ?

Thanks for any insight.

I'm not sure who told you Adderall or like ADD stimulants are addictive or depentant. If one is truly ADHD/ADD stimulants don't have the same effect as someone who doesn't have ADD. If a certain ADD stimulant is working for you then you keep taking it, that,s not becoming addictive and dependant isn't a bad thing,. Some people have to take meds for life for various medical conditions, are they dependant on that medication, yes, it may keep them alive or live a better quality of life. Non-ADDer's take stimulants to get high, ADDER's don't get high it helps them live a better quality of life. Adderal keeps my brain from racing a million miles a minute so I'm able to focus more and think clearly, when I don't take it for few days at a time a can feel the difference.
