I'm not sure where you are from xljuce, but I know that in Canada, where I live you do have the right to ask the pharmacy to supplement a name brand drug for a less expensive generic brand, if one does exist. I don't see any reason why that wouldn't apply elsewhere, check with a pharmacy.
