If things go according to some kind of sanity, if you are prescribed stimulants, they will check your blood pressure. They told me if my asystole was above 90, that would mean no stimulants. Starting on Ritalin I wondered if it would make my borderline high blood pressure higher. I was actually very surprised that it actually lowered by blood pressure. I have no idea why that happened but I guess that can't be too bad?

Also where I live, followup routines are STRICT. You get your BP taken several times a year plus we do ECG every or every second year to see nothing bad is going on. I don't know the routines there, but here they actually do look after you.
