In a state of anxiety and depression I tend to want to hide in my home and not face dealing with others. Then I also notice that I feel better when I distract myself by going out places. But I just have to force myself to go out of the house.
However, I just want to hide so I don't have to deal with other people or stressful situations. That is making it hard to find employment. Also my S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) is worse in the summer months when it is too hot to go outside.
