I take Tramadol for Fibromyalgia pain. It works well for some types of pain and not for others eg it is useless for headaches. The only side effect I get is becoming itchy. You also have to be careful with dosage and mixing with anti-depressants as too much can lead to Serotonin Syndrome. I've had that and it is awful, and dangerous. Does your pdoc know your taking it? Still, I manage to take it safely and it helps.
