Nice question.

I have trouble falling asleep. I have too many thoughts running around in my head. I usually take a sleeping pill around 11:30pm and get into bed by 12:30. I probably fall asleep (on a good night) at around 2 am. I would like to be in bed and asleep by 12:30. I know if I get too little sleep I feel tired and cranky all day. Seeing as I'm not working at the moment and don't really have any kind of schedule it isn't too big a deal when I go to bed. Ideally, I would like to get up earlier in the day.
