Hi there,
I may have a solution for you. I work in a hospital and we sometimes have our panic disordered patients just come sit and hang out in in the lobby if they feel a panic attack might be coming on.
Perhaps you would be more comfortable taking a good book (and your meds) to your local emergency department and hanging out there until you know what your meds will feel like to you. Knowing all those good nurses and docs are just a room away, it should make you feel very safe!
You might even take a good friend along and have lunch in the hospital cafeteria, shop in the gift shop and make a day of it!
Another thing some patients feel better about is cutting their pill in half (Klonopin is scored) and seeing what just half the dose feels like and then working up to your full dose from there.
Lastly, I can almost guarantee that your Klonopin is going to make you feel tons better, if you take it!!

Good luck!
Okie
