I am in bed by 10pm on weeknights, sometimes a little later on weekends but not usually.

I need to make sure I am active during the day and able to relax my body at bed time. This has taken practice with meditation. I also sleep more soundly on days I have meditated usually.

I don't sleep for a few hours once in bed but I make sure I am in bed regardless of if I am actually asleep for at least 8 hours. Your body can still get rest even if you're not asleep the whole time.

Waking is harder for me personally but I am out of bed at the latest by 8am.

I had to be really strict with myself about 5 yrs back when I committed to this routine, hypo mania made it harder and depression wanted me in bed too much but now I keep the schedule without too much problem.
