Sometimes we have the tendency to either try to dump all the information on them immediately then work on the details.....or others may withhold information until forced to in discussions with T.

Just take it a little at a time is usually the best way.....it will be fine & they will believe you.

I had a problem when I was going through a trauma & in the middle of it my pdoc didn't believe that something like that could happen...but then again...no one else believed it could happen either (home care person was abusing my mother & stealing her ID as she was dying of cancer) & I caught it happening but didn't understand what I was experiencing & needed support....didn't get any at that time. If we stick with the FACTS, they will get it sooner or later as they start to see the whole picture.

Also as you go through the therapy & they know that the facts are the same every time, if they don't realize it's the truth to start with...it reinforced the truth over time
