Not to be ingested, but I use lavender and rosemary for their aromatherapy effects to help me sleep peacefully. You can buy some bundles and then crush them up in a bowl, place the bowl near your head where you sleep, and then as they dry, just give them a few crushing squeezes every week and the aroma can last for months.
