I bought a couch cover "once" ... It's fine if you never want to sit on the couch again. Mine wound up in a few pieces.. one was for under my car. easy way to make sure it wasn't leaking oil or something, the rest became bedding for my dog !

I hope your able to get more hours or maybe a new job altogether.. meanwhile you might want to just put that cover in a closet until your feeling better.
