Are you seeing a psychiatrist? On meds?
Remember that (with regard to meditation) the idea is not to quiet your mind, but to
just notice what is going on in your mind. Not judge it, not attach to it, but
keep returning your attention to your breathing as your 'monkey-mind' jumps around and does its thing. Meditation is not a battle, but a gentle way to work with your breathing in order to calm yourself.
