As okiedokie wisely said "Insecurities abound"... amongst most here, I would hazard a guess......
Because of people's disorders and background, not a criticism from here.

I think its not so much about people (including me sometimes) wanting "unwanted (?) attention" as sometimes finding it hard to express how they feel without being perceived as offensive or rude? Or without going against the guidelines?

Just a thought, hope it isn't inappropriate
