I've never had a CT scan before, and I'm scared. I had an ultrasound a few months ago and they didn't find anything which is why I have to do the CT... I'm mostly worried about what my doctors might find, but I'm kind of freaked out about the amount of contrast I have to drink beforehand too...

I'm trying to mentally prepare myself to drink the contrast, but I'm worried I won't be able to drink it or I'll throw it up because of my bad gag reflex. Have any of you had to do this before? I was told it's best to drink cold and with a straw so I'm going to try that...
