Ok, my previous post got me thinking......

I called the kids on my "night" to call and was speaking with my 11 year daughter Lindsay. School was still in, and we were talking about her day. She said "Mom, I found out today the reason I am so skinny is because I have high metabolism". Being a tad skeptical regarding her comprehension of this, I asked her to explain what she meant. She did, and certainly did a better job than I could. I then threw a wrench in the conversation and said "Linny, what kind of metabolism does Mommy have" (I am at least 20 lbs overweight). She hesitated for a moment and came back on the phone with excitement in her voice "Mommy, you have the HIGHEST metabolism, ever".

I love that kid to pieces!!
