I agree with _Sky, I think maybe they were trying to show they noticed his weight loss and were concerned. I wouldn't have taken it as a slam against me. They must certainly recognize that when battling cancer and being on chemo, a person is bound to loose a bit of weight. I mean, they didn't say anything like "gee, isn't she feeding you???" I'm sure his appetite has waxed and waned these months....I remember my mom's was like that too going through radiation treatments and all.
