I want help but I don't want help... I'm so confused ...
Just had another thought on this.....yes, help means that YOU have to do work on dealing with the things that are triggering your anorexia....& even figuring out what those triggers in the first place. I know that all the triggers that were causing mine....everyone would have definitely been in denial of.....my parents were good.....BUT...there was a dysfunction that really effected me....& yes, my Husband was a nice person but his behavior felt like abuse even though in reality it probably wasn't it was just trying to live with undiagnosed Asperger's took it's toll.

Sometimes those who want to help you the most end up showing up as part of the issues....not because they want to help but actions that have been LONG before NOW.

Research has even showed that women who have had abortions for whatever reason have showed up with anorexia......any traumatic event or any event that had a negative experience in our life can end up being the foundation of where the anorexia comes from.

Living with the anorexia is much worse than living through the work it takes to process why even though it doesn't feel like it at the time....& the help is worth it in the long run no matter how painful it might be or who/what it might point out in the process.
