I'm bipolar and have anxiety issues, panic attacks, touch of PTSD.

Someone in the bipolar forum related a symptom that I've been experiencing for awhile. This person said their pdoc loosely referenced maybe a possibility of some type of dissociative disorder.

Example... My boss that I have anxiety issues with gives me three steps to follow in an email. I read the email..little later I was concerned because I don't remember doing what he asked. I vaguely remember step 1, but when asked later what happened, all I could respond with was "I forgot", yet I read the email.

I've come out of meetings not remembering what I was even told to do. Sometimes my wife adamantly tells me that ABC happened, I don't recall it at all. She's even said occasionally when I do remember its like I have it wrong or skewed to the negative.

I swear there are pieces of my life that I don't remember.

In the other hand, I'll ask several times what so and so needed me to do, it comes off as forgetful or not paying attention.

Is anything here sounding familiar to any of you?

Thank you...
