I took it for almost a year and it helped with the manic spells. Well several months ago I got an erection that would not go away and it was a painful one well needless to say I had to go to the E.R. And they stuck six needles around the shaft to drain all the blood out. They narrowed it down to either my trazadone or the risperidone so I quit taking all my medications for a little over two weeks. One day I could feel myself becoming manic so I took a risperidone well when I woke up the next day I once again had an erection that would not go away and once again I had to go back to the E.R, to get it drained again. This is the most painful thing I have ever gone through and I have cut my thumb almost in half on a table saw I had fallen off the very top of a semi truck and have broken numerous other bones and I would rather have those happen again than have my junk drained again.
