My mom just phoned me. Zipper has had declining health for a while now (deaf, slowly unable to keep food down and had stopped grooming herself). Apparently this morning she couldn't move, and my mom took her to be put down.

My baby girl has been a part of my life for so many years - almost 19 of them.

Now she won't be there.

I'm going home to petsit this weekend, and it was mostly to take care of my girl. Now it wont be anymore.
