Has anyone here ever been prescribed Ritalin for depression? I know it's not widely done, but it seems some doctors out there do use it.

reviews on Drugs.com indicate people seems to experience great relief from depression symptoms while taking this drug.

I quit my meds about 2 months ago. I was taking abilify and paxil. They worked ok, but my depression still lingered and the side effects made it not worth it since I was still depressed and NOT LIVING and SICK from side effects. I've been on many combos, and lingering depression (Low energy, motivation, focus, social issues, etc...) Always lingers in the long term.

I know there is a possibility of abuse with this drug, and most doctors will not prescribe for depression. I was just wondering if anyone here has experience with this medication for depression symptoms.
