Hi SublimeChopin,
So, here's the thing. I'm fat. Or, curvy, as I really like to say. And I'm happier and more secure with myself now, than when I was super skinny. Oh, there's DEFINITELY room for improvement and growth on my part. But yeah. Just thought I'd throw that concept out there about myself. While I do want to change my body and lose weight, I also embrace my curves. How did I learn to do that? I don't have an exact answer, only speculation. I have read and seen a lot online about embracing oneself just as you are. This is a good website and blog (she also has a Facebook page): Rachel W. Cole . I hope this finds you inspired. It has helped me, and led me to other good online people and information.

I just googled "body positive" and came up with a whole bunch of stuff, too. Love the skin you're in: 9 uplifting body-positive blogs

Changing ones mindset doesn't happen over night. And it is work. But it can happen! Be patient, and be open. I'm glad you posted here.

Have a good night.
