Wanted to add: I am not someone quick to say a person should find another therapist. This, though, would feel very threatening to me. Reporting is no minor matter, and no one has the right to reveal that kind of information about me without my permission now that I am an adult and not in danger. I don't take kindly to threats. It is a huge trigger for me, and this is threatening behavior from this therapist.

Unless you know of specific endangerment currently to any children, you are completely within your right to have this remain confidential and to have the right to report stay firmly within your control.
