I've had hypomanias that felt like that before. Always mixed and always dysphoric so the slightest hint of hypomania feels like doom but I've felt just "off" and not right before just as something has started. So I know that feeling means to start watching.

If your hypomanias aren't things to dread then that may not be true. But is there any chance this is how your body is suggesting something is changing?

I hope not.
