I rarely see full-blown visual hallucinations, and even then, they are usually very brief and nothing super detailed. Usually it's sleep deprivation causing me to see shadow people, things pulsating, etc. I also never hear voices outside of my head.
My psychosis tends to happen mostly inside of my own mind. In my mind, with my mind's eye, I will see a lot of vivid, detailed and usually crazy/terrible things and have conversations or hear voices that are inside my own mind. It gets very noisy and chaotic and crowded in there during a bad episode.
My psychosis also tends to lean way more into delusion than hallucination. For example, my mind will explode with imagery, entities, voices, all sorts of things, which is not technically a hallucination, but I will believe that I have demons or something inside of me, which is a straight-up delusion problem when it goes full-blown.
