Depends on the med. You are asking about Latuda specifically, and I took it for about a month. What I remember for me was horrible night sweats (and they weren't menopause-related). It disrupted my sleep and just caused more issues than helped. I asked to be taken off of it, and I'm not one to generally have side effect issues that I can't tolerate. The night sweats resolved very quickly once I stopped taking it.
