Hi all, so i am doing a research project for school. I'm looking for ideas. The topic had to relate to volunteer work and I'm already volunteering at a support center with kids who are just removed from their families and going into foster care. I don't know how to do a research project because I am not allowed to talk with the kids about their "cases" and the kids don't usually stay long so it is not like I can get to know them. The idea for the topic of the effects of trauma on the body is because being removed from your home and placed into care is traumatic in and of itself, not to mention what was going on at home for a child to be removed.
If anyone has any ideas, or personal stories/experience to share - it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time and be well.
