What has been your experience with either Strattera, Vyvanse or Concerta? Has anyone experienced symptoms of mania while on any of these medications? Also, for anyone who has taken both Adderall and any of these 3 medications, are they just as effective as Adderall?
Thanks.

Hi there, I also have both bipolar disorder and adult ADHD. I have not tried Adderall, and I don't know how I feel about Strattera because it is not a stimulant. However, maybe because Strattera is not a stimulant, perhaps it will not trigger a manic episode? I find Vyvanse to be MUCH better than Concerta. Also, are you on any mood stabilizers? I think that if you are on a correct cocktail and dosage of mood stabilizer/APs, then taking ADHD medication should not be a problem. All the best!
