I use a wordpress template and features, but it's not hosted on the wordpress site. I have my own domain name. If you want to check it out the link is in my signature.
I find wordpress really easy to use, and they have a ton of easy to use add on apps, like anti-spam software, vistor tracking, creating subscription lists etc.
