If you are on geodon, do you split up your dose and take it twice a day, or just the entire dose at night?
My pdoc wants me to take half in the morning and the other half at night, and it's not working for me. And yes, I plan on talking to her about this at our next appointment, which is next week. The past three days I've taken a dose in the morning, and about two hours afterwards I get nauseous, tired, and grumpy, and it lasts about seven to eight hours.
Is there any particular reason why the dose needs to be split up?
(And yes, again, I plan on asking. I was just wondering what you all thought, or have been told.)
I need to be able to function during the day. I work full-time and have a child, and even if the sedation isn't as bad as seroquel, it's still annoying, and it's a grumpy and sick feeling sedation, not a warm and fuzzy and tolerable sedation like seroquel was.
