Also, there is no need to feel embarrassed about telling medical staff what you are experiencing. Trust me, they have seen and heard it all before, because many people experience psychosis. It's not common, but it's also not extremely rare. They understand it, and they have procedures for helping people who are experiencing psychosis. This can also unlock the doors to avenues of help that you may not know exist yet. For example, the bit about hospitals that have psychiatric nurses. Usually they will be responsible and assist you in moving in a direction of help outside the hospital. This can be one of the hardest things in the world if you have paranoia, but try to have faith and hang in there.
