I was thinking about that just earlier actually.... in movies you always see people drinking alone in bars in the US but over here that's not very common. Is that really the case state side?

I've tried chatting to girls randomly in a bar once but I just felt awkward. I've always felt much more at home when I've met them as part of a group. It just seems more natural to me. I guess maybe that's got something to do with the social anxiety part of my GAD.

I guess tonight I'll just have to settle for embarrassing questions... (that remark alone cheered me up)
