i'm agoraphobic, and know exactly how the summer/ sunshine can affect mood.

for me it's the same. i get in to a pattern of thinking about people and all the possible things they might be doing (picnicks, going to the beach, theme parks) and i just get to feeling so depressed about not only the fact that i'm at home, but i feel like i've missed out on so many experiences/ oppotunities

i used to try and think about other people who couldn't get out for what ever reason (people in hospital, for example. or the elderly.

but it never helped me.

think that's why i like the rain- i don't cary that guilt so much.
