I remember the treadle machine, and the mangle...
And I do still have my washboard! I haven't been using it much, though, although I used to use it very regularly...
Last year, I finally broke down and bought a new sewing machine. My husband says it's worth every penny -- and there were a lot of them involved -- because I don't swear nearly as much when I use it! It's got every bell and whistle.
And all the dials go up to 11!
