Agreed. You're not an addict yet but you're walking that line. Binging is probably the more appropriate word. If you're already speaking to a professional and they haven't recommended treatment, you're probably ok for now. Try to curb your though process by finding new hobbies, interests, etc. A lot of addiction is mental.
