I can relate to smoking (cigarettes, that is). I have given up 3 times in my life. The second time was by far the hardest think I had to do. It was much harder than giving up drinking. (For me). Third time I gave up, I was more determined and that was about 9 or 10 years ago. Now I can't tolerate smoking at all. I become ill and claustrophobic. It has gotten so bad that I can't even go for a walk without watching the sidewalk for discarded cigarette butts as I can't step on them. That would cause me to shower for 2 hours and throw my shoes away. Extreme or what?
Good luck to all of you. It sure as heck isn't easy
