I am a teacher. I did student teaching in top ranking schools but I primarily taught and teach now either in urban setting or low socio economic status rough neughbourhoods. Yes also title 1. I teach high school. It doesn't bother me a bit. Kids are kids. I look at it this way doctors don't choose who to treat they don't say oh this patient is poor And rough let me go treat some foo foo rich fancy folks lol I look at it as they need it and I do it.

Yes it has its challenges. Of course. Yes it is more of a headache. But oh well. The big issue is we are struggling financially and take pay cuts. Money is tight. My colleagues in fancy districts are doing better financially
