I do not discount what you are saying, but the acute benzo withdrawal syndrome itself is intense and torturous. Benzo withdrawal tends to accentuate everything the patient experiences (I.e. touch feels like being slapped). It sounds like you had an awful experience and I really am sorry that you went through all that.
