Maybe it's different where you live but here a 17 year old wouldn't be given the results of psychological tests without a parent or legal guardian present. In fact, the parent is given the results first here. And therapists often discuss serious mental health concerns and SH with parents as well if there is a risk of serious injury as there seems to be in your case. That's probably why there are a lot of questions being asked.
