I have severe OCD. I've had different things, different rituals. When I was a teenager (I'm 39 now), in high school, I would come home and do three to five hours of rituals. I don't like people touching me, either, and I'm very limited in things I can touch. I have to look at things certain ways, see things "the right way" before I can do things sometimes, avoid touching many things, and I go through exhausting thoughts, rituals and avoidances every day. I even dream about OCD sometimes.
I agree with Gabriel, try other options before taking meds. That's not to say meds won't be the right choice for you, but if behavior therapy alone, or other therapy, is helpful for you, it's best to do that.
By the way, I like cheese on my pancakes. Everyone thinks I'm weird, and you're the first person I've known to like cheese on waffles...I think waffles are the same thing as pancakes, basically, so we're similar. My mom got me into cheese on pancakes.
