Of course I will be discussing this with my pdoc next week before I have a consultation with ortho surgeon about having more epidural steroid injections. However, I am concerned about how the shots may affect my bipolar and how it will mix with the meds I currently take which are Depacote 1500 mg and Trazsdone 50 mg daily.

I have seen horror stories of folks having to go ip after having the injections. I have only had the injections once years ago, prior to being diagnosed with bipolar. I look back, and remember roundabout conversations which I think were implied towards me. I believe some of my coworkers saw a turn for the worse with my attitude and behavior.

I'm taking 11 pills a day which is getting to be a pain the crapper to keep track of, and adding more for my physical pain is getting overboard, so the injections seem a way to not keep adding pills. I don't won't to wind up freaked out having the shots though. I do remember the first shot I ever had, I awoke in a wheel chair being rolled to the car. My mind freaked out, but I was to tore up to do anything about other than drool and sleep.

Anyone's experiences with bipolar and epidural steroid injections will be greatly obliged.
