I've had Degenerative Disk Disease in my Lumbar Spine and Sciatica for many years, and it's extremely painful.I have to be on pain management with pain medication, and mustle relaxants just to be able to move each day. If I don't take them, then I can barely even move my back at all without it causing severe pain, and sharp pain that shoots down the back of my legs, and sometimes up my spine and causes headaches quite often. My Pelvic Bone is also subluxated,so if I sleep on it wrong,my hip will be really sore for a few days, whichever side I slept on wrong. I end up having to put a pillow under that side when I sit,and sit kindof sideways. It's really hard,I have to sleep with a pillow between my legs to keep it from being thrown out in my sleep. Does anyone else have this condition or the disk disease, and have any suggestions on how to sleep without waking up in so much pain every morning? When I get up,I have to sit for awhile after taking my pain meds.,and mustle relaxants, and wait for them to start kicking in,before I can even start my day, because of how severe the pain is when I wake up in the morning. I just can't find a comfortable position to sleep in at night,I toss and turn all night, and wake up about 3 times throughout the night! Any suggestions?
