My T always runs his appointments from about 10 after the hour until the hour. He uses the time in between to run to the restroom and to take notes about the client he just saw. So long as your appointment still runs the 45-50 minutes it is supposed to, I don't really see that as a problem. He may just have changed the way he runs his session times just a bit.
