My sessions are regularly at 2. She usually has someone before me, never has someone after me. Her sessions are typically 50 minutes and start on the hour, although I've noticed some sessions before me go right till 2, instead of 1:50. I never said anything, but one day she mentioned to me that she has some clients she sees only once a month, and they get a full hour. Ok. I did notice, but never said anything. I have been seeing her twice a week for over a year, and she ALWAYS started exactly on time. I never had to worry about waiting around. But this summer, maybe starting a bit before summer, our sessions have started 5-10 minutes late about half the time. I've been very understanding about it, because I know if she's just been sitting with someone for an hour, she hasn't had time to use the rest room, and she drinks tea during sessions. She does have to walk through the waiting room to go to the rest room, she apologizes, tells me she has to go, and usually has me follow her back into the office. But sometimes too, she'll keep the client before me an extra 5 minutes, and then go use the rest room. I wouldn't notice these things, except that it's only been fairly recently that it started, she was always very punctual before. I haven't said anything yet.... and my T usually does make up the time at the end. Although one day, she had a phone call from her daughter's doctor, and was on the phone for 10 minutes during my session. She did not make that up, as she had to leave on time to pick up her daughter. She says that quite often.
